Recently, Professor Zuliang Du's research team published a review on blue quantum-dot light-emitting diodes (QD-LEDs) based on II-VI semiconductor quantum dots in Journal of Materials Chemistry C, 2020, 8, 10160-10173 (SCI, IF 7.059 )

General device architecture of a blue QLED.


In this paper, the authors review the latest developments of blue QLEDs and present the latest progress in the synthesis of QDs, the device structures, carrier transport materials, interface regulation, light outcoupling technologies. Finally, the development and application prospects of blue QLEDs are summarized, and the advancements of film-forming technology of QLEDs for full-color display applications are presented.
