Group

The group is committed to the discovery and development of new one-dimensional (1D) nanostructures with an emphasis on controlled the morphology, size, structure, composition and physical properties and assembles them into nanodevices, which is an important branch in the Key Laboratory for Special Functional Materials of the Ministry of Education.

The research group has been improved markedly although its later initial starting. Now there are fewer researchers in the group and they are sponsored by the Program for Science & Technology Innovation Talents in Universities of Henan Province (No.2008 HASTIT002), Innovation Scientists and Technicians Troop Construction Projects of Henan Province, and by the Natural Science Foundation of China under Grant No. 20941002 (. Since the group is founded, the title of the group is named as “One Dimensional Functional Nanomaterials & Nanodevices”. The research content of our group is aimed at advanced materials for energy and environment and the dual function – a device property and interconnection – required in any 1D nanosystem. These will enable to control their sizes, particular emphasis is being placed on developing modulated nanowires/tubes/ribbons/hierarchical structures, which has been developing for applications of 1D nanosstructures and the realization of new materials advances in science and technology.
